Tri-City Baptist Temple –
Who We Are
We are is a family of believers committed to biblical training and education in order to serve God, and support one another to the fullest; in our home, our church and our community. (Ephesians 4:13-16)
What We Believe
We believe about God’s word? We must make sure that God’s word is the preeminent authority rather than the predominant authority by which we live. It is our starting point, not a reference point in all things. We must view everything through the scripture and not the other way around. With the preeminence of his word comes the sufficiency of his word. By recognizing the authority of God’s word we also recognize that we are saved by faith and sanctified through his word as well. He has given all things to us whereby we may become more like him.
Knowing these things we must also be ready to logically answer all those who ask questions or seek to attack the authority and sufficiency of God’s word. Authority (Psalm 19:7), application (2 Peter 1:3), defense (2 Peter 1:3) and proclamation (Acts 1:8) of his word are the key to success in making disciples as the Lord has commanded. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8).
When We Gather
We gather for Sunday school, Sunday evening and Wednesday night we are dedicated to biblical discipleship (2 Peter 3:18) for the Glory of God. Bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and unity in prayer. (James 5:17)
