A View from the Cornerstone
I decided to create this blog in order to provide a view of the current culture and the daily events in our modern times. This is not a blog of my views but a blog based on God’s word.
2 Peter 1:3 Reminds us that God has given unto us “all things that pertain unto life and godliness” this doesn’t come through a coffee shop conversation, a close friend or a TV talk show. This comes through “the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
We want to build on a foundation that is a biblical one, with Jesus as the cornerstone. This blog will look at the issues of our day from a position atop a foundation that has already been laid, that which is Jesus Christ. My prayer is that through this blog you will be to able to see the issues of this day in light of the scripture as opposed to the scripture in light of this world. Come on up, the view is divine..
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Albert Cross
PS. Please excuse the occasional grammar/spelling error that may appear from time to time. My attempt is to convey a point and I must confess that I am no scholar so let us not waste time correcting my typing, but focusing on what is important, the idea being conveyed.

Five years of learning… This blog is inspired by a man that has been a pastor in urban Chicago for the last 40 years. He wrote an article containing 40 things he had learned in 40 years. I have been pastor here at Tri-City since 2008 but five seems like a...read more
The west end of Louisville is not just a place across the river from me here in New Albany. It is the end of town where I grew up. The landscape is much different than when I grew up there. Shootings were not that common. Drugs were “done” or “dealt” in...read more
